The Catholic - N.I. Panthers (New Iberia, LA) basketball felled the host Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA), 52-35 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Terriers go into the non-league test with a 16-2 record.
The now own a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Delcambre for a 2A District 8 test on Friday, January 12. Ascension Episcopal will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 79-20 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-11.
