The Marvell Mustangs basketball team (Marvell, AR), dropped 67-50 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Augusta Red Devils (Augusta, AR)
The Red Devils now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host DeWitt for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 11. Augusta will battle a Dragons team coming off a 48-45 league loss to Harmony Grove (Camden, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 5-9.
The Mustangs (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Clarendon (Clarendon, AR). The Lions come into the 1A Region 5 battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Clarendon prevailed over Midland (Pleasant Plains, AR), 74-46, in a league battle.
