Gold Beach Panthers (Gold Beach, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bandon Tigers (Bandon, OR), 56-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Gold Beach upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Oakland (Oakland, OR) to play the Oakers in a 2A Valley Coast bout on Thursday, January 11. The Oakers go into the bout with a record of 13-0. Oakland won 64-40 in their recent league bout against Waldport (Waldport, OR)

Next up, the Tigers play the Reedsport (Reedsport, OR) in a 2A Valley Coast bout, on Thursday, January 11. Bandon will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
