In Tuesday's league outing, the Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME) basketball squad beat the visiting Bangor Christian Patriots (Bangor, ME), by a margin of 44-35.
The Wolverines (8-0) will now prepare for their outing against Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME). The Howlers go into the non-league outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Penobscot Valley defeated Piscataquis (Guilford, ME), 43-31, in a league outing.
The Patriots now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Jonesport-Beals for a D North outing on Friday, January 12. Bangor Christian will clash with a Royals squad coming off a 40-38 non-league loss to Narraguagus (Harrington, ME). The Royals record now stands at 6-3.
