The Sulphur Golden Tors basketball team (Sulphur, LA), was routed 62-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA)

The Buccaneers now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Acadiana for a 5A District 3 battle on Friday, January 12. Barbe will battle a Rams team coming off a 45-36 non-league loss to St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA). The Rams record now stands at 10-11.

The Golden Tors (11-11) will now prepare for their battle against South Beauregard (Longville, LA). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 11-9 record. In their last battle, South Beauregard was routed by Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA), 62-46, in a non-league battle.
