Greene County Tech Golden Eagles (Paragould, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Batesville Pioneers (Batesville, AR), 57-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Greene County Tech upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Valley View (Jonesboro, AR) to play the Blazers in a 5A East bout on Friday, January 12. The Blazers go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Valley View won 64-53 in their recent league bout against Paragould (Paragould, AR)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Paragould Rams (Paragould, AR) in a 5A East bout, on Friday, January 12. Batesville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 64-53 league loss to Valley View (Jonesboro, AR).
