Berean Academy Eagle (Hixson, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lookout Valley Yellowjackets (Chattanooga, TN), 62-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Berean Academy upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Eagle travel to Cedar View Christian (Kingsport, TN) to clash with the Seahawks in a Freelance bout on Friday, January 12. The Seahawks go into the bout with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Yellowjackets clash with the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles (Chattanooga, TN) in a 1A District 5 bout, on Friday, January 12. Lookout Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record.
