The Lions go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Union Grove won 73-72 in their recent league bout against Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Harleton Wildcats (Harleton, TX) in a 2A Region III District 21 bout, on Friday, January 12. Big Sandy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-14 record after their 44-42 league loss to Ore City (Ore City, TX).
