The Big Walnut Golden Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Dublin Scioto Irish to 51 in the Golden Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canal Winchester for a Ohio Capital - Capital contest on Friday, January 12. Big Walnut will battle a Indians team coming off a 69-32 league loss to Hayes (Delaware, OH). The Indians record now stands at 2-9.
The Irish (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Westerville North (Westerville, OH). The Warriors come into the Ohio Capital - Capital contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Westerville North prevailed over Worthington Kilbourne (Columbus, OH), 71-29, in a league contest.
