Texas High School Basketball - Celeste can't hold off Bland

The Bland Tigers basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Celeste Blue Devils to 43 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitewright for a 2A Region II District 14 contest on Friday, January 12. Bland will battle a Tigers team coming off a 81-21 league loss to Honey Grove (Honey Grove, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 8-10.
The Blue Devils (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Trenton (Trenton, TX). The Tigers come into the 2A Region II District 14 contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Trenton was nudged by Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX), 58-17, in a league contest.
