The Bolton Bears basketball team (Alexandria, LA), was nudged 45-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA)
The Panthers now sport a 20-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marksville for a 3A District 2 battle on Friday, January 12. Buckeye will battle a Tigers team coming off a 55-43 league win over Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-11.
The Bears (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Jena (Jena, LA). The Giants come into the 3A District 2 battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Jena was nudged by Bunkie (Bunkie, LA), 46-36, in a league battle.
