The Early Longhorns basketball team (Early, TX), was toppled 54-39 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Breckenridge Buckaroos (Breckenridge, TX)
The Buckaroos now possess a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peaster for a 3A Region I District 8 battle on Friday, January 12. Breckenridge will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 49-32 league win over Millsap (Millsap, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 13-8.
The Longhorns (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Comanche (Comanche, TX). The Indians come into the 3A Region I District 8 battle with a 10-10 record. In their last battle, Comanche beat Dublin (Dublin, TX), 65-29, in a league battle.
