The Charlestown Townies basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Brighton Bengals to 38 in the Townies league triumph on Tuesday.

The Townies now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wareham for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 14. Charlestown will meet a Vikings team coming off a 51-43 non-league win over Millbury (Millbury, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 7-2.

The Bengals (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Burke (Dorchester, MA). The Bulldogs enter the Boston City - South contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Burke triumphed over New Mission (Boston, MA), 79-55, in a non-league contest.
