Georgia High School Basketball - Brookwood overwhelmed by Newton

The Newton Rams basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the visiting Brookwood Broncos to 49 in the Rams league victory on Tuesday.
The Rams now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archer for a AAAAAAA Region 4 contest on Friday, January 12. Newton will battle a Tigers team coming off a 73-38 league loss to Grayson (Loganville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 13-2.
The Broncos (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA). The Comets come into the AAAAAAA Region 4 contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, South Gwinnett triumphed over Parkview (Lilburn, GA), 66-48, in a league contest.
