California High School Basketball - Buckingham Charter ripped by Valley Christian

The Valley Christian Lions basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Buckingham Charter Knights to 43 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sacramento Country Day for a Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League contest on Thursday, January 11. Valley Christian will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 60-47 league loss to Sacramento Adventist (Carmichael, CA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-5.

The Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Christian (Yuba City, CA). The Lions enter the Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Faith Christian was routed by Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (Rocklin, CA), 75-25, in a league contest.
