Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Mary's crushes Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart

St. Mary's Knights (Sleepy Eye, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN), 89-56 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Knights host Springfield (Springfield, MN) to play the Tigers in a A Section 2 bout on Thursday, January 11. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Springfield lost 84-55 in their recent league bout against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Wabasso Rabbits (Wabasso, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Rabbits go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 81-51 non-league loss to Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN).
