The Vale Vikings (Vale, OR) basketball knocked off the host Burns Hilanders (Burns, OR), 53-42 in Tuesday's league test.
The Vikings (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Nyssa (Nyssa, OR). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Eastern Oregon test with a 4-6 record.
The Hilanders now own a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Umatilla for a 3A Eastern Oregon test on Friday, January 12. Burns will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 63-61 non-league win over Pendleton (Pendleton, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 9-5.
