Mississippi High School Basketball - North Pontotoc can't hold off Byhalia

The Byhalia Indians basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host North Pontotoc Vikings to 60 in the Indians league victory on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Pontotoc for a 4A Region 2 contest on Friday, January 12. Byhalia will battle a Cougars team coming off a 57-34 non-league win over Ingomar (New Albany, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 13-6.
The Vikings (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Senatobia (Senatobia, MS). The Warriors come into the 4A Region 2 contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Senatobia was nudged by New Albany (New Albany, MS), 71-49, in a league contest.
