The Carmi-White County Bulldogs (Carmi, IL) basketball felled the host Edwards County Lions (Albion, IL), 53-38 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bulldogs (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Fairfield (Fairfield, IL). The Mules go into the Black Diamond - East test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Fairfield was beaten by Richland County (Olney, IL), 49-30, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Eldorado for a Black Diamond - East test on Friday, January 12. Edwards County will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 73-49 non-league loss to Frankfort (West Frankfort, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-10.
