Arkansas High School Basketball - Hoxie topped by Cave City

The Cave City Cavemen basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Hoxie Mustangs to 55 in the Cavemen league victory on Tuesday.
The Cavemen now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tuckerman for a 3A Region 2 contest on Friday, January 12. Cave City will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-68 non-league win over Bay (Bay, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-9.
The Mustangs (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Maynard (Maynard, AR). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Maynard dropped by Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR), 66-36, in a league contest.
