Charleston Tigers (Charleston, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cedarville Pirates (Cedarville, AR), 65-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Charleston upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The Tigers host Paris (Paris, AR) to play the Eagles in a 3A Region 4 bout on Friday, January 12. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-16.

Next up, the Pirates play the Hackett Hornets (Hackett, AR) in a 3A Region 4 bout, on Friday, January 12. Cedarville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record.
