Chester County Eagles (Henderson, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jackson North Side Indians (Jackson, TN), 67-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Chester County upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Eagles host Jackson South Side (Jackson, TN) to play the Hawks in a 3A District 12 bout on Friday, January 12. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Jackson South Side won 68-43 in their recent league bout against Hardin County (Savannah, TN)

Next up, the Indians play the Lexington Tigers (Lexington, TN) in a 3A District 12 bout, on Friday, January 12. Jackson North Side will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record.
