Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the College Station Cougars (College Station, TX) and the visiting Rudder Rangers (Bryan, TX), saw College Station's basketball squad overcome Rudder by a tally of 44-34.
With the victory, College Station improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Brenham (Brenham, TX) to confront the Cubs in a 5A Region III District 21 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Cubs come into the challenge with a record of 20-3. Brenham won 66-57 in their recent league challenge against Magnolia West (Magnolia, TX)
Next up, the Rangers confront the Lake Creek Lions (Montgomery, TX) in a 5A Region III District 21 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Rudder will attempt to improve on its 11-12 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 18-6 record after their 68-65 league win over A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX).
