The Viola Longhorns basketball team (Viola, AR), was routed 68-44 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Concord Pirates (Concord, AR)
The Pirates now sport a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shirley for a 1A Region 2 battle on Thursday, January 11. Concord will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 78-62 league win over Rural Special (Fox, AR). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-7.
The Longhorns (11-16) will now prepare for their battle against Rural Special (Fox, AR). The Rebels come into the 1A Region 2 battle with a 7-13 record. In their last battle, Rural Special was routed by Shirley (Shirley, AR), 78-62, in a league battle.
