Wilcox Central Jaguars (Camden, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Dallas County Hornets (Plantersville, AL), 52-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Wilcox Central upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Jaguars host Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Clarke County lost 71-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Monroe County (Monroeville, AL)

Next up, the Hornets confront the Prattville Christian Academy Panthers (Prattville, AL) in a 4A Area 5 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Dallas County will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 77-46 league win over Booker T. Washington Magnet (Montgomery, AL).
