In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN) basketball squad beat the visiting Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN), by a count of 61-50.

The Trailblazers (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN). The Pioneers go into the non-league outing with a 13-1 record. In their last outing, David Crockett defeated Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN), 64-49, in a league outing.

The Falcons now hold a 2-14 record. They play next when they host Claiborne for a 3A District 2 outing on Friday, January 12. Volunteer will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 56-39 league loss to Grainger (Rutledge, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-6.
