Daphne Trojans (Daphne, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Foley Lions (Foley, AL), 55-46 in a league bout.
With the win, Daphne upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Trojans travel to Fairhope (Fairhope, AL) to play the Pirates in a 7A Area 2 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 16-4.
Next up, the Lions play the West Florida Jaguars (Pensacola, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Foley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-21 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 53-44 non-league loss to Escambia (Pensacola, FL).
