The Lake Dallas Falcons (Corinth, TX) basketball nipped the host Denton Broncos (Denton, TX), 56-55 in Tuesday's league test.
The Falcons (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX). The Hawks go into the 5A Region I District 7 test with a 13-7 record. In their last test, Birdville was nudged by Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX), 64-61, in a league contest.
The Broncos (11-15) will now prepare for their contest against Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Royals enter the 5A Region I District 7 contest with a 4-15 record.
