The Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the host Druid Hills Red Devils to 67 in the Golden Bears league victory on Tuesday.
The Golden Bears now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southwest DeKalb for a AAAA Region 6 contest on Friday, January 12. Holy Innocents Episcopal will battle a Panthers team coming off a 47-32 league win over Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-7.
The Red Devils (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Westminster (Atlanta, GA). The Wildcats enter the AAAA Region 6 match with a 9-5 record. In their last match, Westminster overcame Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA), 67-45, in a league match.
