Dyersburg Trojans (Dyersburg, TN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Obion County Rebels (Troy, TN), 71-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dyersburg upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Crockett County (Alamo, TN) to play the Cavaliers in a 3A District 13 bout on Friday, January 12. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 2-13. Crockett County lost 73-44 in their recent league bout against South Gibson (Medina, TN)

Next up, the Rebels play the Crockett County Cavaliers (Alamo, TN) in a 3A District 13 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Obion County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 74-47 league loss to Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN).
