The Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Litchfield Dragons to 50 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. Eden Valley-Watkins will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 74-65 non-league win over Holdingford (Holdingford, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-4.
The Dragons (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Rockford (Rockford, MN). The Rockets enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Rockford ran past Kimball (Kimball, MN), 65-51, in a non-league contest.
