The Killeen Kangaroos basketball team (Killeen, TX), was overwhelmed 73-51 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host University for a 5A Region III District 22 battle on Friday, January 12. Ellison will battle a Trojans team coming off a 56-50 league win over Shoemaker (Killeen, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 20-3.
The Kangaroos (3-18) will now prepare for their battle against Belton (Belton, TX). The Tigers come into the 5A Region III District 22 battle with a 21-3 record. In their last battle, Belton trounced Lake Belton (Temple, TX), 91-67, in a league battle.
