The Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles basketball team scored 15 points and held the visiting Fairfield Central Griffins to 0 in the War Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The War Eagles now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Legion Collegiate Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 11. Gray Collegiate Academy will battle a Lancers team coming off a 74-33 non-league loss to Providence Day (Charlotte, NC). The Lancers record now stands at 3-11.
The Griffins (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The War Eagles enter the AA Region 4 contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Gray Collegiate Academy ran past Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC), 68-34, in a non-league contest.
