In Tuesday's league outing, the Flanagan-Cornell Falcons (Flanagan, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting Tremont Turks (Tremont, IL), by a count of 66-63.

The Falcons (13-5) will now prepare for their outing against Ridgeview (Colfax, IL). The Mustangs go into the Heart of Illinois outing with a 6-10 record. In their last outing, Ridgeview was tipped by Tri-Valley (Downs, IL), 54-30, in a league outing.

The Turks now hold a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to El Paso-Gridley for a Heart of Illinois outing on Friday, January 12. Tremont will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 61-58 league win over Heyworth (Heyworth, IL). The Titans record now stands at 15-2.
