Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets (Fort Wayne, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Leo Lions (Leo, IN), 51-50 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Cadets host Fort Wayne South Side (Fort Wayne, IN) to play the Archers in a Summit bout on Friday, January 12. The Archers come into the bout with a record of 4-8. Fort Wayne South Side lost 62-60 in their recent non-league bout against Marion (Marion, IN)
Next up, the Lions play the New Haven Bulldogs (New Haven, IN) in a Northeast 8 bout, on Friday, January 12. Leo will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 57-53 non-league loss to Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (Fort Wayne, IN).
