Nanih Waiya Warriors (Louisville, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host French Camp Academy Panthers (French Camp, MS), 70-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Nanih Waiya upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Warriors travel to Ethel (Ethel, MS) to play the Tigers in a 1A Region 6 bout on Thursday, January 11. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Ethel lost 62-60 in their recent league bout against Noxapater (Noxapater, MS)

Next up, the Panthers play the McAdams Bulldogs (McAdams, MS) in a 1A Region 6 bout, on Friday, January 12. French Camp Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 63-44 league win over Velma Jackson (Camden, MS).
