The Fresno Warriors (Fresno, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Torres Toros (Madera, CA), 70-64 in Tuesday's league test.

The Warriors (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Sunnyside (Fresno, CA). The Wildcats go into the North Yosemite test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, Sunnyside got by Sierra (Tollhouse, CA), 63-54, in a non-league test.

The Toros now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Hoover for a North Yosemite test on Thursday, January 11. Torres will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 102-26 league win over Madera South (Madera, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 9-7.
