Texas High School Basketball - Friona ripped by Littlefield

The Littlefield Wildcats basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Friona Chieftans to 41 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Muleshoe for a 3A Region I District 3 contest on Friday, January 12. Littlefield will meet a Mules team coming off a 72-41 league loss to Brownfield (Brownfield, TX). The Mules record now stands at 3-10.
The Chieftans (12-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lamesa (Lamesa, TX). The Tornadoes enter the 3A Region I District 3 contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Lamesa was routed by Littlefield (Littlefield, TX), 81-49, in a league contest.
