The Garber Dukes basketball team (Essexville, MI), was nudged 52-51 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Swan Valley Vikings (Saginaw, MI)

The Vikings now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freeland for a Tri-Valley - Red battle on Friday, January 12. Swan Valley will battle a Falcons team coming off a 80-54 league win over Alma (Alma, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 9-1.

The Dukes (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Glenn (Bay City, MI). The Bobcats come into the Tri-Valley - Red battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Glenn edged Bridgeport (Bridgeport, MI), 63-41, in a league battle.
