High Tech CV Bruins (Chula Vista, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Gompers Prep Academy Eagles (San Diego, CA), 94-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, High Tech CV upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Horizon Prep (Rancho Santa Fe, CA) to play the Lions in a Summit bout on Thursday, January 11. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 2-13. Horizon Prep lost 69-29 in their recent league bout against O'Farrell Charter (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Bayfront Charter Sharks (Chula Vista, CA) in a Summit bout, on Friday, January 12. Gompers Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Sharks come into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 51-43 non-league win over High Tech NC (San Marcos, CA).
