Georgia High School Basketball - Gordon Central overwhelmed by Model

The Model Blue Devils basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Gordon Central Warriors to 39 in the Blue Devils league victory on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockmart for a AA Region 7 contest on Friday, January 12. Model will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 84-82 league win over North Murray (Chatsworth, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 14-1.

The Warriors (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA). The Pumas come into the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Dalton Academy triumphed over Oakwood Christian (Chickamauga, GA), 50-39, in a non-league contest.
