The Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) basketball crushed the host Twin Valley Panthers (Pilgrims Knob, VA), 94-40 in Tuesday's league test.

The Golden Wave (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Hurley (Hurley, VA). The Rebels go into the Black Diamond test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Hurley walloped Council (Council, VA), 76-35, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Bland County for a non-league test on Thursday, January 11. Twin Valley will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 50-48 non-league win over Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA). The Bears record now stands at 4-7.
