Virginia High School Basketball - Hargrave Military Academy thwarts Virginia Episcopal School

January 9, 2024: Lynchburg, VA 24503

The Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA) basketball knocked off the host Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA), 73-65 in Tuesday's league test.

The Tigers (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Oak Hill Academy - Red (Mouth of Wilson, VA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 12-3 record.

The Bishops now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they host North Cross for a VISAA Division II test on Thursday, January 11. Virginia Episcopal School will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 67-50 league loss to Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 7-6.
