With the victory, Tartan improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN) to confront the Spartans in a non-league battle on Friday, January 12. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 3-9. Simley lost 72-49 in their recent league battle against South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN)

The Pioneers (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Two Rivers beat Irondale (New Brighton, MN), 82-65, in a non-league battle.
