The Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots to 55 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minneota for a A Section 3 contest on Thursday, January 11. Southwest Minnesota Christian will battle a Vikings team coming off a 84-52 league win over Renville County West (Renville, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 10-2.
The Patriots (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN). The Knights come into the A Section 3 contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton prevailed over Murray County Central (Slayton, MN), 84-59, in a league contest.
