The Wahpeton Huskies (Wahpeton, ND) basketball nipped the host Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros (Buxton, ND), 62-58 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Huskies (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Oak Grove Lutheran (Fargo, ND). The Grovers go into the A Region 1 test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Oak Grove Lutheran was tipped by Kindred (Kindred, ND), 69-30, in a league test.
The H-CV Burros now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Thompson for a A Region 2 test on Friday, January 12. Hillsboro/Central Valley will encounter a Tommies squad coming off a 67-58 non-league loss to Central Cass (Casselton, ND). The Tommies record now stands at 2-5.
