Texas High School Basketball - Holland knocked off by Thorndale

The Thorndale Bulldogs basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Holland Hornets to 35 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hearne for a 2A Region IV District 27 contest on Friday, January 12. Thorndale will battle a Eagles team coming off a 58-37 league loss to Thrall (Thrall, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-8.
The Hornets (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Granger (Granger, TX). The Lions enter the 2A Region IV District 27 contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Granger ran past Bartlett (Bartlett, TX), 51-34, in a league contest.
