The Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA), 53-47 in Tuesday's league test.
The Chieftains (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Oakwood (Morgan Hill, CA). The Hawks go into the PCAL - Gabilan test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Oakwood got by Hill (San Jose, CA), 67-63, in a non-league test.
The Haybalers now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Oakwood for a PCAL - Gabilan test on Wednesday, January 17.
