North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ider Hornets (Ider, AL), 92-41 in a league bout.

With the win, North Sand Mountain upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Bison travel to Pisgah (Pisgah, AL) to play the Eagles in a 2A Area 15 bout on Friday, January 12. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Pisgah won 71-53 in their recent league bout against Section (Section, AL)

Next up, the Hornets play the Ardmore Tigers (Ardmore, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Ider will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-18 record after their 79-37 league loss to East Limestone (Athens, AL).
