Yale Bulldogs (Yale, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Imlay City Spartans (Imlay City, MI), 66-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Yale upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Almont (Almont, MI) to play the Raiders in a Blue Water Area bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 6-3.

Next up, the Spartans play the Richmond Blue Devils (Richmond, MI) in a Blue Water Area bout, on Thursday, January 18. Imlay City will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 45-40 league win over Armada (Armada, MI).
